Environmental Events

On Saturday 7th March 2015 James attended the TimeToAct 2015 climate change march. The march aimed to challenge the government to take action against climate change now! 2014 was the hottest year on record with temperatures only rising and the polar ice caps melting at a faster rate than ever before.

The march began at Lincoln Inn Fields and took place through the centre of London finishing up at Parliament itself for a final push to get the seriousness of climate change and environmental damage heard.
The march was a hugely successful event with over 20,000 people attending all fighting for a hugely important cause.

Earth Hour

The 28th of March 2015 will mark the 8th annual Earth Hour to raise awareness and band together to protect the planet!

Since the first Earth hour, which took place in Sydney in 2007, the word has spread and now 162 countries and territories are going to participate! Earth hour has support from some of the biggest companies and corporations from around the world such as Google, CBS, Yahoo, CNN, National Geographic and countless others!
Every year Earth Hour grows bigger with more and more people showing their support. On the first earth hour of 2007, 2.2 million people participated in Sydney, and in 2014 hundreds of millions of people from over 7,000 cities got involved. CampaignBreathe fully support Earth Hour and hopefully we can help to get this great project even more awareness and support!

Live Earth Road to Paris

On June 18, 2015, together with the United Nations, Live Earth will once again create a global series of events over 24 hours, on six continents, anchored from Paris and New York. Live Earth Road to Paris will be broadcast across all major media platforms and supported by a yearlong campaign in partnership with the world’s leading brands, NGOs and non-profits.

Together we will bring together a billion voices to shine a global spotlight on the nations convening in Paris this year and deliver a single message to all leaders – Take Climate Action Now.
